UNSUI

"A simple, vacant mind has no place to go.
Resting on the peak, i watch the clouds return"

Han Shan

These photographs, taken mostly in Patagonia, Alaska, and the eastern Sierra, reflect the mystery, majesty, and ephemeral nature of wind and clouds over peaks. Unsui literally translates as "clouds, water" and generally refers to practitioners of Zen Buddhism, who are described as attempting to move freely through life, without the constraints and limitations of attachment, like free-floating clouds or flowing water.
